It has been an incredible few months for us all at Mayden. We have welcomed lots of new customers, we’ve been shortlisted for countless awards, all whilst focussing on product developments that are already proven to save valuable administrative time and support patient engagement and outcomes.
This has also been a year of change for us, welcoming our wonderful investment partner G Square and working with them to get iaptus into the hands of more clinicians, driving forward our mission of data driven and outcomes focussed care.
We have been joined by 25 new colleagues in the last 12 months, from account managers and product owners, to developers and UX designers, to support our growth. We have also welcomed new additions to our director team.
Our founding director, Chris May, started Mayden over 20 years ago. During that time he has been our leader, inspiring us every day to always put the customer first, to live our values and to stay true to our purpose. But after two wonderful decades it is now time for someone else to take the helm.
Everyone at Mayden is delighted to announce that Reece Donovan will be stepping into the role of CEO. Reece has a background in biomedical engineering and technology, and is a fierce advocate of putting the customer at the heart of what we do and ensuring world class customer service and experiences. As Reece picks up the role of CEO, it will allow Chris to dedicate his focus to advocating for the role of technology and data in healthcare.
This change follows fast on the heels of the appointment of Jamie Gibson, who was named CFO back in June, and Graham Ridgway who joined as our Chair. Reece, Jamie and Graham are a very welcome addition to the existing Mayden director team.

As I move into a role that allows me to more directly pursue my passion for data inspired healthcare, I cannot think of a better person to hand the reins to than Reece. I am confident that he is the right person to lead Mayden forward and continue to reinforce all those things that make Mayden, and iaptus, unique. Reece is joining a fantastic director team with a collective 65 years of serving Mayden and our customers. Myself and the entire Mayden team would like to extend the warmest of welcomes to Reece, and I am looking forward to working under his stewardship”.

Our ambition is for iaptus to be recognised as the best outcomes focused Electronic Health Record (EHR) in the world, helping vital healthcare services to deliver high quality care and improve patient outcomes. We believe that we have the team, the passion and the customers to help us make that a reality.
