Bath-based health tech company Mayden has been recognised in J.P. Morgan Private Bank and Beauhurst’s prestigious Top 200 Women-Powered Businesses list, celebrating the outstanding achievements of women-led organisations across the UK.
You can read the full shortlist here.
The annual report highlights enterprises where women play a leading role in driving innovation, success and impact. This recognition celebrates businesses that are: founded or led by women, majority owned by women or run by management teams with at least 50% women.
With 56% of its workforce made up of women and three women on the exec team Mayden is proud to stand out in a sector where women remain underrepresented.
“To be included is a real honour, and a testament to the incredible work of our team,” said Rebecca Prestland, Director at Mayden. “We spend a significant amount of our lives at work, so we put great effort into building the kind of company we all want to work for — one where all people feel fulfilled, supported and able to make a positive impact in transforming health and care with technology.”
Mayden’s people-first approach is a key driver of its success, with more than 90% of employees reporting pride in working for the company in its latest staff survey.
The announcement comes ahead of J.P. Morgan’s special anniversary event in London on October 16th, where other women-powered businesses will celebrate achievements and share stories of entrepreneurial journeys.

About Mayden:
Mayden is a health tech company based in Bath, on a mission to transform health and care with an ecosystem of best of breed software that makes a real difference to people’s lives across multiple care settings. Your go-to partner for best of breed, thoughtfully designed health tech solutions, Mayden is building an ecosystem that helps services tackle their biggest challenges with confidence.
Mayden was founded in 2000, driven by a simple but powerful insight: healthcare services were collecting vast amounts of data – but not necessarily using it in meaningful ways. Mayden set out to build smarter, cloud-based tools that would support clinicians to manage patient care more effectively – and unlock the true value of their data.
