Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Mayden is committed to achieving diversity, inclusion and equality among our workforce, and eliminating unlawful discrimination.

We cultivate a working environment which is free of bullying, harassment and victimisation, promoting dignity and respect, where individual differences and the contributions of all staff are recognised and valued.

In place is an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy fully supported by the Directors and accomplished by the whole workforce. We all take responsibility for its success!

Our interview panel members have undertaken training regarding the fundamentals in equality, diversity and inclusion in preparation for the recruitment process. This includes addressing unconscious bias and encouraging each other to provide challenge and fair discussion throughout all stages of our recruitment.

We have an internal Diversity and Inclusion Working Group, made up of Mayden employees. Colleagues can join the group long term, or as a subject matter of interest arises. We have an open door policy and encourage a safe space for all.

Mayden aspires to have a workforce representative of the diversity in our area and beyond! We undertake annual workforce monitoring to gain equalities data about us, our employees and colleagues, to help us identify the areas in which we are doing well, and where we could do more.
