As we gear up for hosting IAPT Connect 2019, we wanted to take the opportunity to share a little more with you about the event – why we’re hosting it, and the impact we hope it will have.
In the video below, our founder Chris May shares his thoughts.
We’re proud to have worked in partnership with IAPT from day one. It’s our privilege to have worked alongside services for more than a decade. We’ve seen the challenges that services have faced, and have witnessed the different approaches that each one has taken to solving them.
For that reason, we at Mayden have been granted a unique perspective – one that allows us to spot patterns and sometimes even potential solutions to the challenges that IAPT services face.
Our life’s work is creating digital technology that changes what’s possible for clinicians and patients, and we believe that the best solutions emerge when people come together to solve a problem.
We created IAPT Connect as a space where services across psychological therapy can come together to learn from one another, be inspired, and discover practical solutions to the challenges we all share – to shape the future of IAPT together.
We look forward to hosting IAPT Connect and welcoming a whole range of people involved in delivering and commissioning psychological therapy services – who are either using the IAPT model of care, or are interested in learning about it – and you can expect to see everyone from policy makers and researchers to healthcare professionals in attendance.
